INTO ETERNITY Members To Guest On New KATAKLYSM CD

August 17, 2005

Canada's INTO ETERNITY are currently on the road, their third tour of 2005, opening for traditional heavy metal warriors HAMMERFALL and EDGUY. Supporting their album "Buried In Oblivion", the band is in great spirits and ripping up the stage every night. Tim Roth (guitar, vocals) sent this message to fans: "Hello everyone!! The HAMMERFALL/ EDGUY/ INTO ETERNITY tour is rolling along full steam now. We have been astonished by our fans enthusiastic response to our show. They are giving us so much energy, and every night we play as hard as we can. It's a great feeling to look out and see 1,000 people raising their metal horns!! The Eastern Canadian leg of the tour was sick! I think we made a lot of new fans and we can't wait to get back there with STRATOVARIUS. The promoters were class acts and treated us well, so thanks to all of them.

“After our show in Montréal, Rob and I were picked up by J.F. (KATAKLYSM) and drove to his studio. Rob and I did guest work on a track for their new album called 'Road to Devastation', where I played a guitar solo at the end of the track and Rob did trade-off vocals in the song's chorus. We are really good friends with them now, and have been fans of the band long before we toured together. I have to say that their new album will turn a lot of heads, the songs sound really amazing. It was a big deal for us to do our best for the KATAKLYSM guys, as we consider them our brothers.

"We hope to see all of our fans out supporting us, and we feel really lucky to be a part of such a great tour. Thanks to HAMMERFALL and EDGUY for having us out with them, they are both great bands and I think this is an awesome package. Hopefully we can meet everyone on the road!!! Keep it metal!"

The current tour wraps up in late August and then the band will finish their year supporting Finland's STRATOVARIUS.
